2. Meriem Khadhaouria is a senior at the Garhoud branch. Her passion for Model United Nations began in Grade 6, when the journey started with Junior MUN. Since then, growth continued through MUN, and Meriem was honoured to win awards at AUSMUN and AUDMUN. Although future plans involve studying medicine, MUN will always hold a special place in Meriem’s heart. MUN helped build confidence, strengthen public speaking skills, and truly shaped Meriem into the person she is today. Meriem cannot wait to meet everyone at the conference and hopes everyone gains as much from this experience as she did before.

1. Mohamad Chahbaz first stepped into the world of MUN in 8th grade at AMSI 22’. What started as a fun and exciting first conference quickly turned into something much bigger. From the energy of the debates to the friendships formed in between sessions, he found himself genuinely enjoying every part of the experience. Since then, he has gone on to attend thirteen more conferences, making this his fourteenth and final one. Over the years, MUN became more than just conferences and resolutions for him, it became a space to grow, challenge ideas, and connect with people who share the same passion. He is truly excited to be chairing this conference and looks forward to seeing the level of discussion, creativity, and collaboration that delegates will bring to the room.
