1. Bassel Boucherabine is a Senior at Al Mawakeb Barsha whose passion for MUN began in the 10th grade, where he was set to attend his first ever conference, UDMUN 23’. However, he decided not to attend due to the return of OG Fortnite. His first ever conference was at AUDMUN 24’, where he debated with extreme passion and fake sources he made up on the spot to unfortunately leave without an award. However he learned something valuable, he figured out how MUN works. He later went on to attend 13 conferences winning 11 Awards with a couple Best delegates along the way. Bassel lives by one saying for every conference, “awards dont define you, but they kind of do,” which pushed him to keep going, even when he wasn't getting picked. Bassel is extremely excited to chair AMSIMUN 26’ and can’t wait to see you all there!

2. Lamar began her MUN journey in 8th grade, where she quickly developed a passion for diplomacy and public speaking. Through years of conferences and countless debates, she has built her confidence and leadership skills that shaped her into who she is today. She is thrilled to be chairing UNODC at AMSIMUN’26 and looks forward to seeing the ideas and energy delegates bring to committee.
