ICJ (Special Committee) Chair 1

Youssef Zouaoui

Committee Chair

Youssef started his MUN journey in Grade 9. Walking into his first committee, Youssef never looked back. What started as “let me try this out,”, quickly turned into a full commitment to debate, resolutions, and the occasional dramatic point of orders. Somewhere between his first speech and his first motion to challenge, he realized he actually loved the chaos of diplomacy. Since then, he has treated every conference like game day, walking in prepared and ready to make his mark. He enjoys fast paced debate, last minute amendments, and the challenge of defending his ideas under pressure. For Youssef, MUN is not just an activity. It is where confidence meets competition and where he feels completely in his element. He could not be more excited to take on the role of chair at AMSIMUN’26 and is ready to help make it an unforgettable experience.

ICJ (Special Committee) Chair 2

Rayan Sadek

Committee Chair

Rayan Sadek is a Senior at Al Mawakeb who started his MUN journey in the 8th grade. As he walked into his first committee session with his position paper completed only a day before, his spark of hope diminished, and he ended up leaving the conference without an award. Nonetheless, Rayan maintained his course, and found his love for MUN through his advanced ability to research. Every debate, every conference, and every award that he has now managed to secure came purely from the skills that he has refined over the past 4 years. Now, Rayan chairs AMSIMUN with a true passion to showcase his abilities in debate and spread his love for MUN, ensuring his delegates leave the committee with the same skill, commitment, and discipline.
