African Union (AU)

Ammar Alalawi has been involved in Model United Nations since 9th grade. He has attended over five conferences, serving as a delegate, chair, and faculty member, and most recently had the privilege of chairing AMSIMUN’25. MUN has been an incredibly meaningful part of his high school journey, and he is truly excited to chair this conference. He looks forward to witnessing the passion, thoughtful debate, and dynamic discussions that delegates will bring to the committee.

Remas began her Model United Nations journey in Grade 8 when she participated in AMSIMUN’22. What started as a new experience quickly turned into a passion for discussion, collaboration, and exploring real-world topics. Since then, she has taken part in many conferences, serving in roles from delegate to chair, each experience helping her grow more confident and skilled. Through MUN, she has developed strong public speaking abilities, leadership qualities, and the confidence to express her ideas clearly. Remas is beyond excited to be part of this year’s AMSIMUN and can’t wait to meet all the delegates for an amazing and memorable debate experience.
